Sillypolitik
This year I got involved with creating a card based strategy game created in Unreal Engine! Masterminded by Lev Working and created by my team, Lint Trap Games, the game follows disgruntled laundromat owner Rufus Kreig and his journey to dismantle the HOA, which eventually leads to many more shenanigans.
So, What Do I Do?
I currently serve as the team's producer and lead 2D artist! This is my first real producer role, and I have loved it! While there have been some growing pains, especially learning Jira and Confluence for the first time, I've embraced the challenges.. I had the opportunity to flex my muscles with creating character designs, animatics, and concept art and the art direction. Our team lead, Lev, tells me what he envisions, and I make it happen. This experience has been incredibly rewarding, and my team has been amazing. See them here!
Producing
As the team's producer, my primary responsibilities include organizing our bi-weekly Jira sprints, checking in with the team, and assisting our team lead with any additional needs. Balancing the roles of main 2D artist and producer has been challenging, but by dedicating most of my art creation time outside of class, I'm able to be present for my team. I provide feedback on their work or simply listen as they work through their own challenges.
